Let a tour guide do the hard grind…pick up a tour, enjoy the sights, party hard. Travelling alone or with friends, you’ll soon have life-long friends with loads of amazing shared memories. There’s some solid reasons to consider a tour instead of going it alone.

Fancy a Tour?

  • Short on time, need to maximise experiences
  • Travelling alone & want company
  • Never want the party to stop
  • Visit the prime places each area is known for
  • Interested in learning about the area, but don’t want to spend the holiday with you nose in a travel guide.
  • OK for brief visits to places; you can always go back.
  • Want someone in charge to handle the tricky stuff.
  • Wants food & accommodation included & organised.
  • Want a trip that’s backed by an expert organisation.
  • Happy to choose from a set itinerary with no suprises.

Go it Alone?

  • If you’ve plenty of time for travel
  • Stick with friends or hang with backpackers
  • Selective about the party scene.
  • Comfortable being off the beaten track
  • Have the time to do your own research
  • Like to be flexible – love a place, stay longer.
  • Enjoy the opportunity to chance it with local meals
  • Ditto accommodation
  • You can handle getting yourself out of fixes.

Don’t let the price of tours put you off. Once you, realistically, add the cost of travel, accommodation, food and the myriad of expenses that add up, tours can be a bit of a bargain. Not only that, you’ve no time-consuming transfers to stations, blisters from lugging bags around, hot buses and not being able to relax in case you miss your stop. With a tour, you roll out of bed, tuck into breakfast and your air-conditioned coach is waiting outside the front door.

The tour guide and driver know the features and places on the route like the back of their hands, and they work incredibly hard to give you incredible experiences.
