HOTEL MAGIC CIRCUS  magic circus

Going to Disney is nothing less than a magical experience- so why not stay at a magical circus themed hotel? We did...and thoroughly roadtested it for you!

Situated near Disneyland Paris and only 35 minutes away from the centre of Paris, ‘Magic Circus’ is an ideal hotel for anyone wanting to escape from the constant noise and bustle of the city of love. Though it's close enough to Paris to whiz in for sightseeing, it was so fantastic to get back and crash on their CIRCUS THEMED BUNK BED. YOU HEARD ME....yes, they're made to look like a mini circus tent. We loved them!

Some are located in 'not so safe' areas too.  But, fear not...by booking a room at The Hotel Magic Circus, you get an enormous room, beautiful beds, free parking, a beautiful setting and all the facilities of a 4 star hotel!

Hotel Magic Circus is designed along the lines of a French manor house typical of the Marne region. The rooms are situated around two courtyards with magnificent views of the French countryside and the hotel’s small lake.magic circus

What I thought was the best part about this hotel, was the fact that everything was circus themed. The entrance to the hotel was through a big red and yellow tent, vintage pictures of circus acts plaster the corridors, huge models of giant show ponies and elephants scatter the foyer, and there is a channel on the TV in each guest room completely devoted to circus performances.

However, convincing your parents to let you stay here may take a bit more than this bed. Try telling them this, Magic Circus has; large family rooms available, buffet breakfast is included, fitness room, indoor heated pool, has full conference facilities (if your dad is a workaholic) outdoor playground, free l’Occitane products, spa, Thai massage, INDOOR BALL PIT :D, bar, restaurant, and we even got a Disney toy in our room to take home!

We found it to have a really friendly atmosphere and the staff were great as they attended to all of our tourist dilemmas with incredible patience - and yes, they speak English perfectly.

This hotel really feels like a 4 star hotel (which it is); the carpets and furnishings are really nice and a great deal of attention has obviously been put into the decor.  We really recommend that you dine in at the restaraunt inside the hotel, L’Etolie- it has a huge range of traditional and international cuisine which is the epitome of delicious. Our tip- find the strangest item on the menu and try it! We ended up with a traditional French dish that arrived in a pickle jar- but actually was really tasty! The price was very reasonable for a hotel too.

Who it suits: families looking for a real rest and holiday, who want something comfortable, safe, fun, reasonably priced and close to Disney.

Transport:   The Chessy – Marne-la-Vallée train station (TGV, Eurostar, RER line A) is accessible via a free bus service provided by the hotel. This is where Disney is located and will also get you into Paris.

Hotel Magic Circus is run by Vienna International and they also own Hotel Dream Castle which is next door (but we haven't test-driven that one).
