Bonjour Paris! Audrey Hepburn once said “Paris is always a good idea”, and she's definitely right. The capital of France, Paris is home to 2.2 million people and lies near the top of France on the river Seine. Known as the city of love, Paris has the reputation of being the most romantic and beautiful of all cities and is famous for fashion, poodles, baguettes and hunchbacks. Not to mention its architecture, artworks and culinary masterpieces. Paris is one of the world’s most popular city destinations, with approx. 45 million tourists coming each year, and it’s no wonder why. French history is culturally rich, from 'the sun king' Louis VIX, to beauty queen Marie Antoinette, as the centre of the Renaissance the bloody French Revolution. All these aspects can be seen in the many museums Paris has to offer, the most famous being the ‘Musée du Louvre’ and ‘Musée d'Orsay. Paris re mains hugely influential in culture, fashion, food, design and art around the world and is home to the world’s most famous designers such as Yves Saint-Laurent, Chanel, Christian Dior, etc. Why not pop into one of their shops and stare at all the cosmetics or clothes – even if you can’t afford them. There is a bewildering array of hotels in Paris. The nice ones cost $$$$, the cheaper ones can be really grotty and often in unsafe areas. But no worries, we've done all the hard work for you. These two have been tried and tested by us! They're also unbelievably good value and the Magic Circus is great fun. Both of these are good if you have a hire car as they have tons of free parking too. Where to Stay...at one of these of course!
(click pic for more) Hotel Magic Circus is a 'hotel' which means you get thoroughly looked after...and we were! Your room is tidied, there's room service, restaurants & a free shuttle to Disney. It's all very posh - but not pricey!
(click pic for more) Olivarius is an 'apartment' which means you look after yourselves. Your room contains a small kitchen where you cook for yourself, but breakfast is included in the atrium.. What to do in Paris? There is SO much to do in Paris; you’ll probably need to spend at least a year there to see even a bit! But, we’ve put together some of the best places to go, and the biggest tourist attractions. (Click on the pic to 'see Paris'). ![]() Euro Disney - It was a freezing cold day in December when we visited so we weren't sure if the lack of smiling faces was due to the icy conditions or the less outgoing European influence. However, if it's a tightly-packed, well organised Disney Park you're after, this has got to be it. Whilst there's loads to do in this huge park, there's definitely less walking around than in Orlando or LA. The parade was simply astonishing! Click the pic for lots more info on Paris Disney.
